Day 5- July 1
Altoona, Iowa
Sorry no pics.
We stayed at the Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino. We didn't see any horse races and we didn't even enter the casino. We went across the street to Jethro's BBQ Sports Bar and enjoyed good beer, tasty BBQ and the World Cup. Great game even though disappointing.
Day 6 - July 2
We were supposed to go to Adventureland in Altoona but it was a chilly 60 degrees when we woke up so not a great day for a waterpark. Instead we decided to visit Des Moines, Iowa, the state capital. It was Dave's type of city, no cars and lots of parking. It is a beautiful midwest city.
